Parkway School is a Kindergarten through 3rd grade school in the Glendale Riverhills School District, which is located in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI. The PTO and school staff have been working hard fundraising for a few years for their new playground. Inclusivity and fun for all was top priority on their list of needs, making quality unitary rubber surfacing a must. No Fault partnered with Northland Recreation to make their playground dream a reality!
Parkway School had an extensive wish list that included a fun playground with colorful play equipment and rubber surfacing layout. No Fault and Northland Recreation offered options that would help them stay within budget. The total project was just over 5,000 square feet and featured a blue/black base with light green/black patterns running though the playground. The new playground equipment includes a bright, multi-colored structure highlighting a ramped section, different sensory elements, and the Little Tikes Rock N’ Ship Glider. The vibrant pattern of the rubber safety surfacing complements the playground perfectly.
The installation timeline was very tight. Both Northland Recreation and No Fault worked extremely hard to ensure the project was completed by the beginning of school.Ericka Steltz with Northland Recreation stated, "I happened to be visiting the playground on the first day of school, and saw the children come check it out for the first time. By the look on their faces, they are thrilled with the results! Even the teachers are enjoying the new playground!”
