Stevie Hoggard greets attendees at the ASLA Annual Meeting & Expo in New Orleans, LA.
October was a month that brought lots of traveling for the entire No Fault Sport Group team. We started the month with packing and finalization for NRPA, which was held in St. Louis, Missouri. Seeing reps, old and new, is always a great time!
There were also lots of reps and customers that we talk to all the time but never get the chance to meet face to face. Having so many individuals in one room who have a common goal is a great event of which to be a part. Learning about advances in our field and seeing what other people in the industry are doing is vital to keeping No Fault Sport Group at the forefront of the playground and recreational surfacing industry.
We were also pleased to give away a GoPro HERO 4. While we had lots of entries, the lucky winner was Don Melin, Parks Superintendent with San Luis Obispo County Parks in California! NRPA was, as always, a great success.
It seemed like we hadn’t even had time to unpack before it was time to bring everything to New Orleans for the ASLA Annual Meeting & Expo. With this being right in our back yard, there were lots of familiar faces within the landscape architecture field as well as the playground industry.
We were fortunate to have the unique opportunity to sponsor an event for Louisiana State University’s Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture, which happens to be the number one program in the country. The event was packed with alums who are currently working all over the country. Connecting with them and sharing about our product as well as just socializing among a room full of LSU Tigers was an awesome opportunity, for which we are grateful!
That was a great kickoff to an excellent weekend in New Orleans, where we can safely say that everyone learned just as much as they enjoyed themselves! In continuation of our affinity for giving out awesome prizes, we were collecting entries for a drone giveaway! We haven’t drawn yet, so stay tuned for the winner!
We’re happy to be back at the office, at least for a little while! Getting out and meeting with people from all over the USA reaffirms that we work in the best industry with the best people! Thanks to all those who make it so.
