No Fault Surfaces Sport Flooring Tiles

Tiles are a versatile modular solution, which makes them ideal for custom layouts and smaller areas. The interlocking tiles meet American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards for resilient flooring. They also offer flexibility and other crucial features to create strength and quality.

Key Benefits of Sport Floor Tiles

Here are a few key details to help you decide whether sport floor tiles are the right choice for your needs:

  • Modular design: Individual tiles interlock to create durable flooring. You can lay them out to fit into oddly shaped or small spaces.
  • Creative flexibility: We offer several tile colors, giving you the design flexibility to create patterns or define specific workout zones by laying tiles in specific configurations.
  • Simple installation: An interlocking tab design creates a secure fit while enabling simplified installation, without the need for specialized adhesive.

Characteristics of Our Sports Flooring

The sports flooring you get from us can handle high-impact workouts and constant traffic. It can also hold up to heavy equipment. The material meets ASTM standards, offering resistance to punctures and abrasion. This flooring also requires minimal maintenance, and its stain-resistant surface keeps it looking good for longer.

The rubber sports flooring has a naturally slip-resistant texture, making it ideal for workouts and providing the grip people need during dynamic exercises, pivots and lateral movements. Secure footing gives athletes the confidence to push their limits and perform at their best. Rubber also offers a softer surface than other materials like wood or cement. This elasticity translates into greater comfort for gym members or trainers who use the space.

Both rolled and tiled surface options from No Fault Surfaces are made from recycled rubber, helping your facility meet sustainability goals. Turn waste into a performance foundation for your active space with our surfaces. By using our sports flooring, you may also be able to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credits, which can provide tax benefits.

Installation and Care Guide

Once you receive the flooring you’ve purchased for your gym or other athletic facility, inspect the materials to ensure you have the correct color, style and quantity you need. Place the materials in the room where they will be installed before installation to allow them to acclimatize. Before installation, ensure the subfloor is made of an appropriate material, smooth and free of dirt and other materials. Tiles and rolls differ in the types of flooring they can be used on, so confirm for your surface type.

Installation processes also differ depending on the surface type. Whether you choose tiles or rolls, we recommend hiring a local installer. For tiles, these professionals start laying the material in the center of the room and ensure the directional arrows point in the same direction. Once they reach the edge of the room, they will cut off the excess material to fit partial tiles.

Roll installation requires full-spread adhesive. Ensure the installer you choose has experience with this material type from previous jobs for the best result. Also, after installation, you will need to allow the adhesive to cure completely before allowing traffic in the area.

After installation, both flooring options are low-maintenance. You can keep them clean through regular sweeping or vacuuming. Occasional mopping can provide a deeper clean when needed. Keep in mind that loose-lay tiles aren’t suitable for use under heavy, rolling loads.

We Offer More Than Sports Flooring Products

Our expertise and product offerings extend beyond indoor gym flooring to other sport and recreational solutions like:

  • Poured-in-place (PIP) surfacing: This material provides the ideal surface for applications such as outdoor basketball court flooring, other sports courts, playgrounds and multipurpose areas.
  • Loose rubber mulch: Create better playground spaces with this recycled-rubber material. You can also use it for recreational spaces, like jogging paths.
  • Bonded rubber mulch: This surfacing material uses shredded rubber blended with an adhesive to create a unitary environment. It serves many of the same applications as loose rubber mulch, including playgrounds and walking trails.
